12 Must Read Personal and Professional Development Books

As we begin 2017, I saw so many resolutions and goals that included reading more. I saw this most among business professionals and entrepreneurs. A challenge with a goal of "reading more" is that is that it is too vague. If you are looking for a a great goal that is a solid start to adding personal and professional development this year, why not make it a goal to read a book a month?

If you want more in this life or your business, you must become more! A great start to do that is by flooding your brain with positive books that will help you grow by applying what you hear and read!

"Learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job."  ~ Jim Rohn

These are 12 of the best books I read or listened to in 2016. Consider adding these to your "must read" list, or use this as your list for the year.

I list these alphabetically because I just couldn't determine an order. Each book was the "Best" book for me at the time I read it, or for the particular area I was working on.

  1. Crash the Chatterbox by Steven Furtick
  2. Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk
  3. Go for No by Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz
  4. Go Pro by Eric Worre
  5. How to Make Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
  6. Made to Crave by Lysa Terkeurst
  7. The Best Yes by Lysa Terkeurst
  8. The Entrepreneur Roller Coaster by Darren Hardy
  9. The Go Giver by Bob Burg and John David Mann
  10. The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson
  11. The Traveler’s Gift by Andy Andrews
  12. The 12 Week Year by Brian P. Morgan and Michael Lennington
I would love to hear your thoughts on any of these if you choose to tackle them this year.

Happy Reading!
